I have made a ton of mistakes in my first week of high school. What 9th grader wouldn't mistakes?
Some mistakes I made were, forgetting some of my classmates names, and writing my name wrong in Arabic. I was kind of frustrated about learning my name in Arabic, because I was told little steps towards getting my name right. I was also frustrated because, I was wondering why we were learning Arabic in Math Class?
Learning my classmates names, wasn't as frustrating since, I kind of remembered everyone's name after the first two days. I wasn't that frustrated with this topic because, I wanted to know everyone's name so, I don't call them "Hey you" or "Uh yeah that guy/girl". After the first or second day of school I was able to learn all their names.
The process to learn from my mistakes wasn't that hard. I put a little effort into trying to memorize my classmates names. After I put a little more effort and desire to remember their names I was able to know their names a little faster than everyone else.
After the week was almost over our math teacher, Adam Ko, explained Why he gave us those assignments. It was because he wanted us to know, that it is always OK to make mistakes. Sometimes its better to make mistakes and to learn from it. Than to have never learned anything at all.
